Well about a month ago my SwitchBlade had the biggest backend on it then i have ever thrown. The ball would go down the lane deep and hook right up and destroy the pins. Then i threw it in a tourn. i was in and it didn't hook at all the lanes were pretty much flooded with oil. Ever since then my SwitchBlade never hooked hard on the backend again. Does anybody know what i should do to it to make it hook hard again? Answers would be gradly appreciated:D

Well, sanding it would bring the most hook out of it. Remember, clean it after your done playing your game/games at the end of the day. It helps to keep your ball lasting longer. If sanding doesn't work or you perfer not to go that route then, get some kind of reaction cleaner to restore your bowling balls hook.
Well the switch blade isn't really meant for heavy oil - it does best on lighter conditions if you're looking for hook - so it's not surprising that it didn't hook for you during your heavy oil tournament. If you find that it isn't hooking on any condition, there are a number of things you can do. First, clean it with a cleaner that restores tac to the surface. For this, I recommend Ebonite Energizer Cleaner, but other similar products work just as well. If this doesn't work, take it to your trusted pro shop and have it put in the 'ball oven', which removes oil from deep within the surface that normal cleaners don't get to. If these don't work, well, there's always redrilling to stronger layout, or changing your grip and/or release (getting more revs on it, slowing it down). And, of course, there's investing in another ball...

Take your ball to your local pro shop and have them put it in their ball oven to extract the excess oil it has absorbed, I had the same problem with my Hammer Hawg and the oven technique brought it back to new. It was recommended to me about every 60 games but with my Hawg it was less. The ball to maintain the hooking ability needs to have clean pores on the ball shell and because the friction is so great with the newer balls, the ball absorbs so much more oil. Cleaning is a must after each use, but that cleans the sufface and does nbot extract the oil from the shell
