Almost had my first 300 today

Went to go practice today and first 2 games were 230 something and a 190 something. The third game I hit the first three shots flush to start off with a turkey, then the 4th I hit dead flush and left a 8 pin which I missed because my Doom hooked more than I thought it would, I kept hitting the pocket flush every shot, then I left a 9 pin which I picked up with no problem, then I hit the next couple shots flush, then I left a flat ten which I missed :mad: , then struck out the rest of the way for a 219 or something like that. I just couldn't believe I threw 12 quality shots and only had a 219. I thought I should of had a 300. It will come eventually I guess. I just have to be patient.

Dont you know the 9 is the new 10. I left so many damn solid 9's on dead flush its it aint funny.

To the OP, keep at it man, it will come. I was only bowling for about 6 months seriously before I got mine, so I think I was kinda lucky, but who aint when shooting a 300.

it's cause you were throwing the worst ball ever invented! hahaha j/k


but keep at it, they'll start carrying. just make sure you throw your first 3 in sanction. there's nothing worse than having to print out your scores just to prove you got a 3, and no ring. trust me...lol

It's a very versitle ball for me. It's runs more of a continuous break rather then the No Mercy which has a huge back end turn to the pocket.
That was my normal ball I started with B4 purchasing the NM.
On a house shot, fresh oil, I usually started with it standing about 22 throwing at 8 board out to 4 and it came in nice at about 16 mph.
There are quite a few guys in my league that have one of these in their arsenal.

When someone is running a string of strikes and leaves a 8 or 9 pin(the only true "taps") we just say "too much ball for this little house".

Too much dwelling on getting "robbed" and the rest of your game will suffer.
