I noticed on the PBA website that Hammer has 2 new balls officially approved as of 10/11/2004 The Real Deal and the Saw Blade. Any Info on the balls?

They now have the info on the website. I hope the 14# differential is a typo on the Saw Blade.

It's like Christmas around here when hammer comes out with new stuff.

Wow, they look nice. If the RGs and Diffs are accurate, look out, these balls should move!

I got my Real Deal and Saw Blade yesterday. I drilled the Real Deal with the Pin 5" from the axis under my fingers because I only got a 1 1/2" pin. The CG is 4 3/4" from axis and the LMB is just right of the thumb. I went over the cover with gray scotchbrite and then Magic Shine. Everything that I got on this from Brian Graham said that it hooked a ton and that high rev players should use weaker drillings to store energy (4 1/2" + layouts). Another guy said that he threw his with the box finish and it hooked in his 3rd step. I threw it last night for the first time. I think with the box finish it will live up to everything they say. Polished mine gave me exactly what I have been looking for since drilling 15# equipment 6 months ago. The ball will actually read the middle for me on a very deep almost fall back trajectory and not overskid and leave a lot of weak 10's. This ball hits like a true Hammer, flush in the pocket hits incredibly and light hits mix very well. I am very impressed with this ball and I intend to try iy out again tonight. I think a lower rev player will do very wel with this ball being a particle pearl cover to store energy and still move very strong.

my local proshop just got their first shipment of saw blades a week ago since my favorite ball is the blade reative i believe i'll enjoy this ball. i throw the blade reactive boards 17-20 depending on the lane condition i might throw it 15, i throw it hard and i throw it way out and it has never failed to come back. since the saw blade is polished i belive it will go longer and hook just as much if not more with out the weak 10s.

I picked up 2 of each off the PBA offer. Hopefully, they will be in this week or the beginning of next week. I can't wait.

The Real Deal is the perfect complement to the original Deal, which is for medium oil conditions. Some may find the cover too strong so the ball may look like it's not hooking. Try some Ebonite Powerhouse Factory polish (just a little will do fine) and watch the Real Deal come ALIVE.
Has others agree this is the strongest Hammer ball to date
