i think i have to get a replaceable sole like that. one time my buddy stepped on a spilled soda and we were wonderin why we were Sticking so much on our slides. :(

Hell yeah, thats awesome. You will like the Tomb Raider. My team mate has one and it rolls very good. I will be getting the SST 5s myself in a couple of weeks.:cool:

the sst6's are possibly a little more durable, they are made of kangaroo leather which is very light and tough. I have had mine for 672 games and am on my third set of soles/heels

i think i worked it out that the tomb raider is a switch blade...

switch blade is a very fast reving ball with a very very strong arc..... i like using mine when i have to open up the lane or bowl though carrydown

mine its drilled with a 1 inch pin fingers under pin with cg in palm

so, kangaroo leather is more durable for bowling shoes as well? i know my soccer boots are great with the roo leather, more ball control. how much are pads and stuff like that?? that's why i've never looked into the SST's i'm lazy and wouldn't buy new soles or even change em out. lol but i'll ook into em if they're that great.

are all the 6s roo leather?? this is the only pair bowlers paradise has. and i know for a fact my pro shop has crap.

Enjoy the B-day presents. Mine's coming up and I think I am going to try to get spinner, or maybe I will hold off and focus on guitar for now.

I have found that replacement parts for the shoes are cheaper on the internet.

For my Dynaroos I have not found replacement parts offered on Ebay or elsewhere. Perhaps one of you fancy search engine folks can share a link where I can find replacement slides?!;)

I am buying a new ball and a roller with my winnings over the last 3 weeks...

Probably going to get a NM, but really want a HawgZilla

Summer league is around the corner and we'll be seeing more oil than what we did in our winter league

next question...what soles/heels do you use?

I was going with the 9 sole, just stepped up to the 10 but have been using the red leather sole all the way.

how's the slide on that combo? i like sliding but i don't want to order soles and heels and then fall on my face. and regular shoes have too much brake, it messes me up sometimes cause i like to slide with my foot, not just the balls of my feet.
