League banquet is tonight, we should cash in as we won a quarter, finished 2nd in the A side playoffs, and I hold high series and tie high game in my class.

Just wondering how much you hammer heads have cashed in your leagues this year?

I don't know the amount yet, but I know I'll cash this year. Only know this because I'm in my league's final roll off this coming Sunday. ;)

Wonder if they're gonna keep me as President...

Well, i'm in a handicap junior league. We probably would have cashed. I have one week left to go from Third, to First.

Ended up taking down over $700. 7th in points, won the third quarter, 2nd in playoffs, team high series, Class B high series, and a pin for League High Game.

omfg yall play for high stakes... I actually stay out of those leagues because the people get so competative that they become insulted by anything... they act like total douches.

You calling me a douche! Well I bid you good day sir!

Actually it's the best league in town. Competitive but fun a full range of bowler with 3 classes, and on a harder shot so I fell better about my 300 than if it where on a typical house shot...

Hardly, Jman. I wasn't calling anybody on this forum a douche. What I said was that people in the house I bowl in that partake in the big payout leagues (that's big payout here) act like douches.

And Can... that's awesome. Glad that same environment doesn't repeat itself for you. People in this area really are jackasses sometimes. At least we know who all of them are... they seem to stick together. Birds of a feather, eh?

The biggest non-point money award that I got was 1/5 of $1000.00 for team winning roll-off and championship of men's league. On another night my team came in second in "position round" for $120 per player. Actually both of those teams got me my first ever 1st place awards since I played tennis in High School.

I still have not been able to do well in a "sweeper" event. That is a goal for the upcoming season. I think the best I did was like 14th that paid $30.00.

The 2 leagues I shot 300s in did not pay anything to high scratch game. They said the ring and patches was all I got.

The one league that I shot high series twice in a row did not pay anything either.

What's a sweeper event.
