My new favorite ball

I hadn't bowled in about 12 years, my family talked me into going bowling about 2 weeks ago. I didn't get laughed at when I pulled my Ultimate Weapon and Red pearl Hammer out of my bag. As you could imagine, I got no reaction whatsoever on the lanes,anyway, having always used Faball balls, I asked some questions and was told that the Black Widow was the ball I needed. Well, I had it drilled yesterday, and man I could not believe how AWESOME that ball is. It goes down the lane good, flips and knocks the snot out of the rack, now the only question I have is, and this isn't a joke, is what to do with the old stuff, since I don't have a boat.

Keep your old balls for dry lanes or practice. You can also polish them for good spare balls. Why waste money on all new stuff when it can still have a purpose in your arsenal.

A lot of people have and "old stand bye" or two that they use when the situation warrants. Plus, if you play in tournaments, you may come across wood lanes in which those older balls will work great on.

The Black Widow is an amazing ball. I agree with dw, get on a league and compete with that bad mofo.:D

thanks guys, appreciate the vibes, i am bowling two leagues this summer. I think with this widow I just may be able to get another 300 (#5), but more importantly that 800, that's eluded me. (been close 796)

Yes u could probably use the pearl hammer as ur dry lane ball and you could polish the crap out of the other one for a spare ball.

You might try resurfacing the Ultimate that would help restore some of the original hook, but it will still be tame compared to almost everything else on the market today. Red pearl (if it's urethane) would be an awesome spare ball.
