Why dont we do a ball give away on this site? I mean alot of us show loyalty to the hammer brand and I think it would be good for the people on here. Even if its for senior members it would make others want to join and get involved. Just a thought, what you guys think?

yes it a good idea, but i dont see them donating a ball, they dont even put in a 1 min to get rid of all the spammers on here let alone donating a ball

Thats what Im saying isnt there someone we can petition this idea to... I know that ebonite does it on there site so I thought that if we got enough members to say encourage this idea it might work...

I would love ball giveaways. However, I think that Hammer giving us this forum is pretty cool already. You know what I would like? I would like it if PBA Bowlers who throw Hammer balls would come on here and answer questions and chat with us periodically.:D

I would love to chat with Tony Reyes, Billy Oatman or Doug Kent for an hour every once in a while here on the Hammer Message Board.

When ever a hammer head has a great idea, the best course of action is to take it to Brian Graham (ask an expert from the hammer site).

I think he also gets the emails sent to contact@hammerbowling.com

I have sent emails before to Hammer. If you ask for advice re: a ball or drilling or something like that they respond pretty fast. When I floated my idea of chatting with the pros, I got no response.

Hey, it would not hurt to ask. I just wonder what it would do to this site if stuff was being given away. Would it just make it so more people who are not really Hammerheads but more interested in getting free stuff would congregate.:confused: I do not know. Maybe it is better now where everyone comes to share ideas and thoughts about bowling without expecting to get some prize that they did not earn.

I agree with you on that note... It might work out that way but then maybe some one that would not go out and buy a hammer and instead buy another companies ball would get to try out the product we have come to love... I know that I was a hammer head 15 yrs ago and left hammer to go look at other companies... I was then given the blue hammer 2001 by a friend in 2003 and I fell in love with the company all over again... Now I will never buy another product other than Hammer... Sometimes all someone needs to discover a great product is to be given a little push... And I dont think it would ruin this site because we have people on here already who dont bowl with just hammer... I think it would improve the site actually...

I sent Brian a pm a little while back about ball drawings but I got no response. I don't think a petition is going to do anything. It's basically saying "Hey look, give us free stuff because everyone wants it." Of course everyone wants it, you don't need a petition to prove that point.

I asked in hopes that it would draw more traffic to the site and get the word out about how great the Hammer products really are.

I bet the amount of email/phone call/face to face begging that Brian Graham gets about wanting free stuff would numb our brains.

What if we can get the Pros to donate their game used balls for the giveaways. Maybe not every time but a few times a year. Wouldnt that be cool to have a chance to win a ball that Tony Reyes or any of the Hammer Pros used. I wonder how you would go about contacting them to make the request. It would be even nicer if they could autograph the ball. What do you guys think of that idea?

Lol, I will never throw a visionary, but if it was say Ebonite or another major ball manufacturer I would probably do it.

It would be great if they did...there are a couple of retailers that give away balls on a weekly/monthly basis, and VirtualTournaments gives away Lane1 balls from time to time...

I know many of us would love to see a BW Pearl given away as a pre-release bonus for one of the community members.....Go a long way to keep the community active...
