Although, if it does I am in!! That would be awesome, but make sure people enter drawings and its not for everyone who has registered.. And you should have to be active, meaning posting like 5-10X a month..

That would be a good thing to do, it may get the Hammer Brand more sales, who cares if the person is an Ebonite supporter, they will still throw the Free ball and the more thrown, the more advertising.

One of the best ways to generate support for a community is a "give back" program

I have played a ton of computer games and many of the communities I have belonged to have had regular (not necessarily frequent) random drawings for things as small as a keyboard to as big as an entire system....

One thing that Hammer has is a quality web site with knowledgeable people posting. I have learned a great deal from this site and see it not just as a positive for the members of the community but for Hammer as well. Most of the support that Hammer has is "word of mouth"

A quality site which fosters a community atmosphere has a positive influence on the spread of support. Word travels fast throughout the bowling community. A way that Hammer can foster that support is opening up weekly / monthly giveaways to the community. Things as small as towels to as large as a new ball. What better way to generate hype for a new ball than to offer a pre-release give-away of that ball for a member of the community....

My wife had the biggest crush on Stevie when she was growing up. When I was a kid Gretzky came to our school and we all lined up like we where visiting Santa Claus. We all got to sit on his lap and get a signed poster. He was my favorite player, until I grew up and realized the crap the super stars of today have to put up with. Sidney is doing a great job considering he has no real protection. But that being said I'm a Bertuzzi fan that guy could score a goal with three dudes hanging off his back...

Well we can still use more members I have sent multiple emails to hammerbowling and I am still waiting for a response. I just wanted to let you guys know that I didnt flake. I will call if needed. I would still like more people for this idea and I would appreciate not flooding this post with topics other then the one that was started on this thread as I gave a link to the them of this post. That's a little harsh. I think you should all lay off putting any more pressure on Brian for a free ball. I'm sure he's gotten the message. I doubt he only gets one email a day about someone wanting something for free. It may not even be up to him.

I wrote a very pleasant and informative letter guys. I stated that we believe it would geneate quite a buzz in the bowling world... I proposed the monthly bi monthly give away all the way up to a membership plan... I also stated that I myself would be willing to not only work with brian but also hammer in general to come up with an idea that would benefit all parties... I dont think asking for a free ball for nothing is right, I wrote to brian and hammer that if it was for the appreciation to the loyal consumers or people that normally dont buy hammer to try out there product it would be a great marketing strategy for all parties involved... Working on a car lot and in sales for 8 years that if you do something to this effect that your business grows just on people being curious... I really wanted to make sure I didnt come across that we just wanted something free, I didnt not save my message unfortunately as I would be more then willing to show what I wrote... I hope this clears this up for people that believe I am advocating a "Well we buy from you so give us something free in return" attitude that some think I agree with... I will keep you all posted on the events that should be unfolding soon thank you...
