Yup, it's the last night of league tonight. Instead of having team competition, it's some type of tournament. I'm not even sure of the format, but I'll fill you all in with the results. I've been practicing, so I expect to fare pretty well, even though, I'm just a little above average in this league.
Grayfin have you played around with that Epic Battle yet?

Slap,
I wanted to practice with it one more time to make sure I was familiar with the ball's reaction. So, I bowled with it on Saturday; lots of carry down.
It's really strong on the backend, but is very late. I was able to make it work and threw seven in a row at one point and mostly over 200 games.
I'm going to have the pro sand it down rough and work up from there, like you suggested prior to the PBA Experience league. It just bothers me seeing that gaping hole in the side of the thing. Ugh!
Edit: I dropped my Epic Battle off with the pro last night. I'm going to start with 360 grit and if it's too much, go up to the next finer sanding.

Well, we had our end of season tournament. I did pretty well. I didn't set the world on fire, but I bowled a 210, 185, 191 for a 586 series. There were only 23 people from the league who bowled, but it's a pretty high average league.
I placed 3rd in two games for handicap score and broke even. It was $20 to enter and that's what I won.
As far as our team goes, we finished next to last, but 3 out of the 4 of our bowlers range in average from 140's - 160's, which is much lower than the average team. I had the highest average and I finished with a 188.
We have tons of guys who average over 200.
Anyway, it's over for the year now and time to look forward to the PBA Experience league starting this Sunday.

it doesnt burn out like normal balls do it still holds alot of energy i bowled with it on pretty dry lanes the other night just to tell you how dry it was i had to stand 15 boards left of where i usually stand and throw right in the middle and when it hit the dry smashed the pins. its a great ball and i really enjoy it alot i see alot of high scores coming out of it. still my crossfire tho is my fave ball i absolutely love it and would recommend it to any of you. even tho it is an ebonite i think its the best ball they have the most forgiving and an all around thebest ball in my bag out of the toxic, total NV, and odyssey
