I guess you can throw in Reyes as well..
Walter Ray and Norm seem to play the lanes straighter, as do I, so its fun to watch them.

of the guys I have met.....
Chris Barnes is a guy you could hang out with, shoot some hoops and grill some steaks with the easiest, very laid back.
Wes Malott
Mike Scroggins
watching Tommy Jones play with Chris Barnes' twins changed my attitude about him, he is much cooler and friendly than he comes across on tv.
Ryan Shafer bowling with an insulin pump on his belt makes me a fan of his, just because of how much being a diabetic would be a drain on him physically, and yet he competes as hard as anyone, I never met him though.
but my all-time favorite character is Dino Castilllo hands down.....he is very light hearted and yet a fierce competitor,
I pull for all of the Hammer guys of course, but have never met any of them.

My favorite bowlers to watch are:
1. Any of the pros currently throwing a Hammer ball.
2. Pete Weber
3. Mark Roth
4. Norm Duke
Fictional:
1. Bill Murray character in King Pin
Dream Team Bowlers:
1. Will Farrell playing Walter Ray Williams and Dana Carvey playing Pete Weber in some to be made movie spoofing the League of Ordinary Gentlemen. Other comedians could play some of the other bowlers, and perhaps Chevy Chase could play an aging Johnny Petraglia:D The movie could be set some time in the late 80s to early 90s when haircuts, music and clothing could be really entertaining.

Sorry guys, but I'm mostly gonna go with the bowlers from the 50's,60's,70's and 80's. When it was more on the bowler, not the ball.
Earl Anthony will always be the King. Apologies to Walter Ray,but Earl won all his tournaments in HALF the time it took Walter Ray.
Dick Weber is a close second. The man was pure class. Smoothest roll there ever will be.
Marshall Hollman for the fire he brought to the lanes. You went to a bowling tournament and a boxing match broke out between Marshall and the pins.Marshall usually won. Only pro who could scream a pin down.
Okay,Walter Ray! Come on down! World Champ in horseshoes and bowling! Deadeye gets the nod here.
Chris Barnes for the game between the ears as well as on the lane. I'd like to have your style, but I'll settle for your bank account!
And last but certainly NEVER last,(are you ready for THIS?) GUPPY TROUP!! Didn't win all that much, but man oh man, what clothes this guy wore! You were always looking for the "off" switch on them!! Guppy won a regional the other month and cashed for $1600!!! Way to go,Guppy!

Women bowlers,Liz Johnson back when she bowled in a miniskirt!! Thanks for the kiss in Florida,Liz!
Carolyn Dorin before she added Ballard to her name. One tough cookie to roll against. Tougher than most men!!
Diandra Asbaty,if she goes pro some guys are gonna go hungry!! Hey Brian, put a Hammer in that girls bag!!!
