My free ball league starts tonight and I am curious how oily the lanes will be. Should be fun though.:D

Not sure yet. The league wont be over until after the new line of Hammers are available so I will decide then.:cool:

That's awesome, I wish we had a league set up like that, I would join in a heartbeat. You'll be drooling by the time the league is finishing up!

I joined a "ball league". It's hardly free, as there are no "prizes" being awarded at the end of the league (only 15 weeks), and it costs $17 per night. But, at the end, I get to choose between a Storm Special Agent and an Ebonite Total NV.

Choices... though I'm leaning towards the TNV and getting it laid out for Trick Shot since my No Mercy and Syntactive Sledge (lighter oil ball) are drilled for early movement.

Mine is 16 weeks long, gives away a total of at least $3,000 split up between every team, and costs $20 per week. It starts Monday. I don't know which ball I will get yet because I am gonna see what comes out from the Hammer line this year first.

I know. As of now, I think I will buy the Black Widow Pearl and take one of the No Mercy balls for the free ball.:cool:

my ball league will be finishing up in about 3 weeks, it was 17 weeks long and was $13 a week. You guys are lucky you get nice balls to choose from, we get a choice of a cheapy plastic ball or $50 dollars to the proshop, i think i am going to take my and my dads $50 to the proshop so i can get a nicer ball.

i believe there is a 1st and 2nd place prize but it is a huge handicap league where the team who is leading right now is 4 woman none of whom can bowl over a 120.

ahhhhhh, :eek: now i understand the flyer that says,

"New Black Widow League"

I assume then that they're giving free BW balls...
very tempting to join but 2 leagues (Wed & Thurs nigths) for summer is more than enough for me. :(

I have to free up the weekends to learn golf ;)
