Hey all,
yesterday my pro shop guy was watching me bowling and he said that i got pretty good revs but my ball would get more if i had an offset thumb. he said since my hand was so big it would help my thumb clear free of the ball. Can someone please explain what this is and how it will do?

Well...I have my thumb offset right now cuz of how big my hand is.
Basically, when the thumb is directly below the finger holes, your hand webbing doesnt clear it as cleanly as it could. When the hole gets offset the webbing clears better.

Anyone experience pain with offset thumb? I tried to switch, but went back to thumb in middle of fingers. Wondering if I needed more time to adjust.

You should not feel any pain with any grip or its wrong.
