Well...I have a pair of Dexters, slides on both, considering getting some SST4's.

My parents and my little brother think it is insane that i go through shoes so quick. I bowl alot, and I tear up my shoes because of it, i think. I've had two pairs so far and both pairs of shoes have ended up with my non sliding shoe torn in half. Also I keep growing and they dont fit at all at the moment.

So...why do my shoes break so easy?

i just got the sst 6s nice comfy....

do you leave your stuff in your car? i know my first pair the sole was coming off and then one day the sole (not the slide....the bottom of my shoe) came off. i left my stuff in my car though....so i blame that.

I agree, the sst 6's are the best. I have 800 games on mine and roughly every 300 or so, I get new soles and heels, maybe there is some way I can maintain them better to get more life.

I dont leave my stuff in the car. I leave it in my room at the foot of my bed in the bag.

how can you maintain shoes better? lol you wear em and slide...it's not like we could slide less or something...lol but yeah extended life would be nice....

I wasn't clear, I aplogize, what I was referring to was the replacable soles and heels. I don't think I spend as much time cleaning them, etc and would probably get more life than 300 games if I took the little bit of time it would take to take the wire brush to them here and there.
