I ordered me a Black Widow Friday night. Who has one of these? What do you think of it, is it a good ball? How much did you pay for it?

Ive had mine for a few months. I think its a pretty good ball. My average actually went up 30 pins a few games after I started using it. Im shopping for a No Mercy now. I paid $190 for my BW.

You gotta love the Black Widow. Just make sure to get the drilling that matches your game. I have the all purpose drilling. It is great for my game.

Have a BW and the ball has never failed me when the conditions call for a inside out shot. I have mine drilled with the trick layout kike my NM with the hart on the 3rd flare line. This type of drilling gives me the length I need along with the aggressive backend.
Just make sure you have your shop drill it to suit your style and game.

When I got my Balck Widow it was on a Sunday. The owner drilled the ball and came out to let me try it.Went 194.Fixed the thumb hole and went 289 on the second game I ever threw with it!11 strikes in a row and just missed the 12th by an inch.My fault,I tried to steer the ball instead of just throwing it.Oh well.I've backed up the 289 two more times!I am NEVER getting rid of this ball!!!

i love my widow and cant wait for the pearl, its the best ball ive had since my old red hammer, thing that makes me sad tho is your all quoting prices of $140-$209 im from england and payed £165 ( $ 330 )for the ball and that was fairly cheap, i cant belive how much extra we have to pay overseas than in the us, i was going to order one from america but the shipping fees and import tax then drill cost make it about $30 cheaper grrrrrrrrrrrr for what i have to pay i could have got 2 balls in america :(

I've had mine for about a month. $150 drilled and grips.
I had to get it polished to go a little longer. Bowled my first 215 game a few weeks ago right after I had it polished. I was at a different house that was a bit dry, so it worked perfect.
Family league - The lanes I was on last night were like syrup and I bowled 152 on the first game trying to adjust. Then came back with a 184. I need to start working on my spares.

Mine is getting retired. Threw my 300 with it in Feb. Gonna drop to 15# this year, so I'm selling everything but the widow. Oh by the way, it's getting replaced in my bag by the pearl. What I'm drilling to replace the other 2, I have no idea yet.

Ive had my BW for about 3 moths. Even took it to state tourny with me. hehe. I love it. When you have it drilled right and throw it right the pins will fall. I payed $220 with drilling. Good luck. have fun.
