What a weekend!!

So, I bowled the regional @ Joliets Town and Country Lanes yesterday.
Scorpion pattern. Synthetic lanes.
All though I had never bowled the scorpion before I think I held my own.
I had 806 thru the first 4 games. Last four I won't even mention.
The break down for me was pretty drastic after the 5th game I had 2 switch to a less aggressive ball and move between 10-12 boards on the approach.
The highlight off the day was I bowled on the pair next to Billy Oatman!!!
He used the Widow Pearl for the first 3 games, then switched to the Anger for the next couple and then finally in the last game he was using the cherry vibe.

Let me just say I will be buying all 3 of these balls for sure!!!
The widow pearl was amazing. Went so long and the move was so aggressive it was ridiculous. The anger was pretty sweet also, went longer than I thought it would but an awesome ball. Cherry vibe just looked good.
I also talked to him about the No Mercy Beatin. He said they were awesome and if he could he would have been using that ball as well.:D :eek:

Sounds like great experience. 800+ for first 4 is awesome. For first time that is great. I would have really enjoyed to bowl next to someone like Billy O.

Cool, at least you held you own for a few games.. and got to rub in that you have seen 3 out of 4 of the new balls.
