Dude. That SUCKS. Almost the same thing happened to me.

I was gonna buy The One off of this guy named Mark. He let me try it out for a week, I gave him the money next time I saw him, a week later. He sold me the ball, right? But...his son's friend threw a big temper tantrum over Mark selling me the ball. I paid $50 for it, he wanted it for free. So Mark wanted me to have the ball since I paid, but the kid kept throwing a fit, until he had to give me my money back and take the ball back...it sucked.

Agreements on the enternet are a fickle thing. He could have been burned by people leading him on that they were going to pay then flaked. He could have sold it to one of his teamates, who had cash in hand.
I collect Spyderco knives and a model that was released late last year Became super-hot with prices soaring from day one. A couple sold on ebay for 150-200% of the street price so a couple of vendors said they didn't get any, canceling pre-orders, and sold them on ebay instead.
Anyway, you can't get real mad at someone for taking the sure thing.

Sorry man but, first one with the money gets it as far as i'm concerned. Too many people get burned the other way around. "I'll get your money to you in a few days" turns into weeks and in the mean time 4 buyers with money go by...

I pretty much did have the money. I told the guy that I WILL have the money by Sunday, and I would be able to pay for it Monday and at the latest Tuesday morning, but it will be more likely Monday.

I know the feeling. When I was trying to sell my Blade Reactive on here, someone sent me a message saying they wanted it for $85 and they would pick it up. Well I told him that $85 is too much and I wouldn't want to cheat him out of a ball because I not that type of a person. Then the guy said $65 which I thought was still too much, but I thought if this guy wants the ball so bad, I sell it too him for $65. After a week went by, I didn't hear a thing from him. Then another week went by, and another. I was messaging this guy for over a month and never replied. And I knew he was on because I saw him post on here during the time when I was trying to message him.

Well, at least it looks like I might be trading my Blade for another ball, I will find out tonight.
