i'm 15 and i've been through physical therapy 5 or 6 times now. I'm just about to leave to see the orthopedic, i've been having trouble with my knees again. So...hope I dont need surgery.

I'm a righty and had a dodgy left knee for a while. Every time I "lunged" when delivering the ball I had a stabby-burning pain just above my kneecap. I should have gone to see a doctor or someone but I didn't; I just stopped bowling for a month and used a support bandage for another few weeks when I returned. Seems to be ok now. Lucky I guess.

but all my knee problems have been since kindergarten. My femur is crooked and it messes up my knee. I bend from my waist alot in my delivery to make up for my lower body's weakness.

I am overweight (6' 255) and to help keep pressure off my left knee, I have gone with the sst6's conbined with the "10" soles which is as slick as they can get, I have gotten so used to them, I literally can't bowl in house shoes. Maybe that might take a little pressure off....

I'm not overweight by much, i think 7 or 8 pounds, which i will lose. I'm gonna get a pair of SST 4's, they're really cheap online right now. Hopefully it'll help once i'm back on my feet.
