So I'm bowling on a no-tap league, I thought it'd be fun for the summer.
I start bowling last night and in the 4th frame of the first game, I leave the 2-4-5, and pick it up and then continue to strike out. 277... the 4th bowler on the other team got a 278
Then in the second game I'm bowling, got 5 strikes and leave the 2-4-5-7. I miss the 5 pin by an inche leaving an open, and continue to strike out for a 264. The first bowler on the other team got a 266
The last 2 weeks in a row my scores have all been going downhill from 1 game to the next and I'm getting tired of it, plus I want to be on top in all the categories (hgs, hgh, hss, hsh) (I'm already on top of hgh with a 323, and there's already a hgs of 300, so the best I can do there is tie). I figured I only needed a 219 to tie the hss. So I start bowling the third game.
Lo and behold, I get a 300. :D So the previous hss was 760, and I beat that by 81 pins, and hte previous hsh was 840... scratch I beat that by 1. With 29 pins handicap a game, my hsh was 928. The 4th bowler on the other team has 64 pins/game handicap ended up with a 923 series handicapped. So we both destroyed the current hsh, yet I have the edge by 5. :-D (Handicap is 100% of 250).
All in all, I didn't bowl that great legally though. 3 of 11 strikes the first game were normal, the other 8 were no-tap strikes. And the 300 was half and half. The middle game was 3 natural to 2 no-tap before I got my open and quit paying attention. It was fun though.
