I have my proshop league tonight and I am gonna roll my normal house shot but afterwards I am gonna see if I can practice on the shot I will be using tomorrow... I did need to slow the speed down but I was playing more of a down and in shot with a less aggressive ball... Or should I stick with a more aggressive ball and and try and not play to far outside???

When I soot on the Scorpion patter, I usually use a ball that starts to roll alittle earlier. I keep the speed alittle slower than usual and play more of a direct line. My house has synthetics l. With 41 feet of oil on this surface it demands slower and direct in my case. I don't know what surface your house uses but hope this will help you tomorrow.

Thanks bubba I will try using something that rolls a little quicker... I know I cant swing to much as it slides on the backend... And my house is synthetics also...

I've had decent results using my Pain playing pretty straight down 7-9. It's drilled with the pin under the ring (4" to PAP) and at 2000 abralon

I have Scorpion for first time on this Thursday. Tonight after league they will lay out the pattern for practice. This will be second practice session for me. I hope I can actually play a couple of games, but only if barely anyone else is out there with me.

Well I bowled ok. 181, 160, and 147. First game I threw my BW its a 800 now, down the second arrow. second and third game I threw my Wiked across the center arrow and it came back. I hope this helps.

I had a similar experience on Scorpion. If you got outside of 10, your ball was not coming back. Too far inside and you were hitting high. It's a tough pattern. Oh yeah, I had to throw a little slower to get the ball to hook too.

After league I shot for about 1/2 hour on scorpion. Only 2 people shooting on the lanes with me, so was not breaking down in normal way. I was having very good succes as long as I threw the ball up the lane. Standing at 8 shooting up 5 and I was fine, standing at 12 and firing up 10 the ball was hooking into pocket really nice. Sure, I was leaving some 10 pins, however, compared to Shark that absolutely demolished me, this seems more playable for me.
I am sure things will be tougher with 8 people on the lanes. However, I really think I might have a shot on this condition.
