This ball is AMAZING!!! I have a 175 Average, low to medium revs, stroker, and a righty. I love this ball. It has an amazing hook. Not to strong or weak of a hook. If I throw it out to the 3 board it comes back. If I throw it over 10 board it doesn't over react. It is simply AMAZING. The coler, name, strenght, everything!!! I don't know why anyone would need or want more hook than what it gives. Great on fresh or carrydowned lanes. Well anyways thanks for listening. I LOVE MY HAWG WILD. Thanks Hammer...
(P.S.- I think I'm in Hawg Heaven:cool: )

Rolled a 256 with mine just the other day, I love it also. I am about the same (low-med revs, stroker, righty) and REALLY like the Road Hawg also. BTW, I will be in atlanta the 19th - 21st of June, let me know if you want to hook up and throw a few lines there Pincrusher. I have a 5 7/16- 5 1/2 inch span so if you have a big paw like I do, you are welcome to throw it to see how you like it.

Gryndryno, based on the information about the black widow and your experience with the road hawg, which one do you think revs up earlier? i know they stated that the bw has length, but i am wondering if it needs some oil up front to aquire that length?. both balls sound great, but i do not want to put a more aggressive drilling in the rh if the bw would be the better choice and then put the pin farther in the other ball to complement one another. does this make sense? i know someone stated that they thought the rh was hammer's version of the one, so i guess i am trying to make sure and find out if the bw is hammers version of the big one or something a little smaller than the one.

My OPINION is that with the lower RG of the Black Widow, one would find with proper layout, the Black Widow would be easier to get revs on. I am by no means a cranker or even close, but I find it difficult to get revs on the Hawg Wild and Road Hawg myself. I love both balls don't get me wrong. I am waiting to see where the RG comes in with the Hawg Zilla though, maybe it will be easier to get revs on.
To answer your question though....my guess is you will need decent oil, I in no way believe either ball to be used on lesser oil conditions.

The widow appears, from my limited use of it, to be more aggressive in the mid portion of the lane, but the continuation is big.
My Road's go very long and make a strong move on the back.
My Widow wants to read it sooner. Could be the drilling or surface though. I have another that I am going to punch next week. We'll see.

Sounds great! But my hands are smaller I think. (not yet done growing) How do you measure your inch span anyways???

They take the measurement when drilling, it is the distance between the middle finger and thumb and ring / thumb.

I've owned a Hawg Wild for about 4 months and can't get enough of it! I have improved my average by 30 and more usinf it for my 10 pin. It's has amazing backend that hits right where im aiming.
no offense but any ball you throw should hit where your aiming, haha but yeh it is an awesome ball i would have to say i prefer it much more than the doom

My girlfriend threw her ball where she thought she was aiming, but her follow through was way off, and the ball missed the pocket and hit the middle of the rack. Was a funny sight to see her get pissed and blame the ball for her mistake, and yes it was a storm ball.
haha should've thrown a hammer see that wouldnt have happened... lol actually it stil would have but i still think she should have thrown a hammer:)
