Does anyone have a Hawg Wild and bowl on synthetic lanes with heavy oil in the center and thinner on the outside? The shot is usually around the 5 board. The oil stops at 47 feet. My blue hammer urethane tears up the lane, but my Hawg Wild just doesn't know where to go... Thanks!

Sounds like my Hawg Wild behaves somewhat similarly. I bowl 2nd shift, though, so the lane condition might be different. My old Blade Particle did great on that condition, but I realize that's a completely different animal.

To me it looks like the Hawg Wild wants to go too long on this condition. It always turns for me, but it's usually late. I've been thinking about taking the cover to 2000 abralon from the 4000 OOB finish I've been using. Has anyone tried that, or is that a dumb idea? Any results or advice you'd like to share?

I just got finished bowling with my Hawg Wild. Usually I am a stroker and like the play down and in....My Hawg Wild does not like that. Today I decided to swing the ball from the 10 to 8 board and  It was alive and hungry for pins!!! My hawg wild has a big appetite (LOL). It seems like the more you swing the ball, the more it wants. I LOVE MY HAWG WILD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Out of 9 games my highest score is 232! The best on my youth league so far. And the best thing is that my Hawg Wild just woke up!!! :D :D

What board do you usually play? Are the lanes oily in the middle?:)

At that house, the shot I usually find myself playing with the HW is about 14 out to 7. There is generally a lot of oil in the middle.

I'm a tweener. But, it's not that the ball won't move. It sure does that. ;) Great ball, and I'm very happy with it. I LIKE balls I can finish out the night with 16 of the last 17 (bloody ten pins...).

Since I'm new to all this cover tuning stuff, I was just wondering if anyone can shed some light on how it might perform at, say, 2000. Would that address a perceived length issue on my part or is that heresy to even mention?

I think lowering to cover to 2000 grit abralon with give it less lenght. :o

Hawg Wild's pin action is wonderful. Today I lost my balance and missed my target, COMPLETLY! The ball hit the 3-6 pocket and it was like dominoes :D I got a strike!!! :D

(My Hawg Wild has a mind of its own!)

Does anyone with a Hawg, or Road Hawg have good pin action???

does anyone use the inside angles with their Hawg Wild? I find that the closer in I get it the more Strikes and Pin Action I get...

Geez man, I'd love to see the video of that happening, I didn't have that kind of luck even with my dark thunder.Hope I will with the black widow. Good job though.

Thanks. Your Black Widow will tear down the lanes and poison the pins so bad that there will be none standing.....:D

i'm looking into buying a Road Hawg. I'm very new to reaction bowling I've only been doing it for a month and a half now and my game has gone from not even breaking 100 to my new highest game being at 202 with an avg around 140.

I'm hoping that a Road Hawg will give me that extra punch that will raise my highs even higher :D. Concidering I con't know much about the rg and differential though I'm kinda worried about how it will work for me, but after reading up on that stuff I believe it will work just how I want it to :D!!!

Do you throw a big hook? or little?
for little- Hawg Wild (Even thought it it not little a all)
for more hook- Road Hawg (from what i've read it is about 4-5 boards more hook)

Also are you a Stroker(down and in, low revs), Tweener(medium revolutions), or Cranker(Big hook, high revs)? I don't know how accurate this site is but look it tells the ratings for the Road and Wild

Tell me what you think. :)
