I believe he is talking about the large metal wrist brace. My opinion is they look funny, but who cares about that if they give you the correct feel and help you. I have seen others use them, but never asked about them. You should give it a try and good luck with it.

I tryed my coaches' once and It was wonderful. The release was great. And I, a person with low revs, had a great release with ALOT of revs. The best thing is that it locks your hand in place for consistancy. I was just wondering I anyone else had one...

i have used a pro release for a couple of years now, and it has greatly improved my game, they take a little bit to get used to, but once you do it's great. i recomend them to all bowlers who have inconsistent wrists, as it properly positions your hand for smooth, consistent releases. they are a pain to put on & take offf, but you get used to it. once i put mine on i don't take mine off till league or tourney is over. hope this helps a little

I've been using a Robby's Revs. It's a good product which helps to hold my wrist in place. I assume the Pro Release does the same thing. I'll have to try it sometime.

I use a robby's also, the main difference is robby's is easier to put on and take off between frames compared to the pro release.

You can get them on eBay for about $40. I think they are about $60-$70 at the pro shops.

I get 15% off my purchases at the bowling shop I go to, so it makes it easier to get myself and the girlfriend equiped. Though I won't buy her anything that says storm on it, or let her get anything Hammer.

She can buy storm with her own money, just not with mine. Then she can brag about the sweet smell that her ball gives her for whatever series she wants it from. I believe she wants something in the tropical storm series.
i used a mongoose not sure what model is called, i find that it does help with revs but make sure you do take it off between frames, i bowled a series w/out taking mine off and well, can someone say wrist pains?

I tried a friends pro form, made me feel like I was in a coffin. Though it was comfortable to use, if your one that takes your wrist brace on and off during frames, then it won't be for you.
i find that, that is what seperates the good from the best in the way of wrist supports, i would like something that is very steady on your wrist which helps with consistancy but by the same token something that is easily removed and replaced, that would be perfect, any suggestions?

I like Robby's alot, but ebonite and storm also make a good wrist guard as well. But I use the robby's rev 1 for now and have had no complains from it, though I use a ebonite glove mag force 9000 along with it.
yeh i have seen the storm ones before and they looked half decent and the best part was they didnt stand out a huge amount, unlike the mongoose.... but yeh thnx for the help bud:)
