Good point. Sell it on Ebay and use proceeds on downpayment for one of the new Hammer Balls. OR, Since it was gift, perhaps you can just trade it in on a ball with proper specs for you. As a "cranker" you do not want a short pin ball anyway.

You should be able to get pretty much even deal on Vibe or Toxic. I believe that the U-Turn is a mid-price ball from Columbia. You probably would prefer a "Reactive" Ball anyway.

Considering its only a 1 1/2" pin you dont have a ton of options. But you still need to tell us what you want it to do.

Ok first of all. I know this is a hammer fourm. And I cant get rit of it. Cuz my dad would kill me. Next DONT FLAME ME. Im only asking for help. And I want to ball to play down and in. From what Ive read on the internet I should be able to do it. It will just have less flare. Which is ok. Since I need a weak ball for the PBA oil patterns. Thanks for the help.

Also I would love to have a toxic instead. But I dont know where I would go to trade it in for one. So meh.

With the ball being a particle and having such a short pin, good luck at getting this ball to be a down and in shot. I had a Rule Delta 1 from Track that was that same pin length and personally, I couldn't get it to work only on wood and long/heavy oil. Good luck. I would speak with your dad about trading it in for something that will work with your style, rather than struggling to get the ball to work for you.

I picked up a used Rule Delta a few weeks back for fun. (Single Drill, and in excellent condition Only 40$ from our houses shop) has a 3" pin though. Good ball though for 40 bucks :)

Trydent,,,

Here is one way to consider drilling this ball.

Drill this ball 4 X 4 ½ with the Mass Bias on the VAL and a small weight hole high. Place the pin below the ring finger. Leave the coverstock at box finish.

A 4 X 4 1/2 means the pin will be 4" from your PAP and the Mas Bias 4 1"2 from your PAP on your VAL.

I might be incorrect but I dont think that ball has a "typical" mass bias

Oh, I know it is a good ball, but with the way that I throw, I need something with a longer pin, at least 3 inches. But, then again, I was all depending on this ball to be a heavy oil master when for the way I developed, it wasn't. Now, my friend had one as well, and he used his very well and very consistantly. He has more of a strong stroker/light tweener kind of style and he threw a 300 with his. My high game with that ball was only about a 268 and that was on the best day with that ball when I averaged over 220. In comparison I used my Xception from Track and threw four 300's in which that ball had a 3-4 inch pin. Huge difference by the way that I look at it.:D
