My BWP is coming Monday!

I can't wait for it to come. I have a problem though. I wanted to use the BWP during league Monday night. UPS usually delivers at about 5. My league is at 7. I like to be at league no later than 6:30. My proshop is about 15 minutes away. So I figured it about 30 minutes total there and back. Give the guy 30 minutes to drill the ball, maybe sooner, maybe longer. My question is, should I chance it and take it to the proshop before league? Maybe UPS will drop the ball off at my house early, so that I wouldn't have to worry about making it to league on time.

Sounds to me like you're worrying about something that's out of your control. Play it as it comes. Regardless of when it comes, drop it off at the Pshop. If it's done in time then it's done. If not then so be it... use it next league.

Don't worry about things that you have no control over... it'll give you an anxiety problem like me ;)

It wouldn't be a problem if I went to the proshop at the bowling alley, but I go to a place about 15-20 minutes away from the bowling alley that I bowl at. I tried going to the proshop inside my bowling alley, but they screwed up both times I tried them.

So take it to your preferred Pshop guy and just accept that you probably won't be able to use it in league until next week. Does that make you feel better? No. But is it the realistic answer since you don't have any control over many of the variables at hand? Yes.

Learn to worry about the things you can manage and/or change. The things that you can't... just accept and live with. That said, I would rather take the ball to somebody who will do the work correctly and wait 1 week to use it instead of taking it to somebody because I can't wait a whopping 7 days and get a botched job. Doesn't make sense.

Yeah, i would just drop it off and leave it. Because the stress of running around and worrying if u would be there on time will get to u and affect ur bowling.

Well, if it doesn't come until later in the day, I won't bother taking it in until the next day. But if it comes at about 3 or 4 I won't have any problems. :D

Some times you just have to wait. My BWP has been at the shop since last Wednesday but today is my first opportunity to get it.

just take it to the guy you trust, if it gets done, it gets done. if not, then oh well, you'll have it for next week. sucks yeah, but that's life sometimes.
