Thumb Span Problem [Archive]

Hey guys,

Any tips on alleviating pain from the base of the thumb? I bought a new ball, and unfortunately, it was drilled incorrectly. I got the ball fixed a little over a week ago, however, I still feel soreness at the base of the thumb when I bowl.

Good question.... I have the same problem, in fact I went bowling today and couldn't bowl because I think the tendon is inflamed and irritated. I can't bowl like that. Good thing I check, I was about to post the same thing :D

Have a proshop check the span, pitches bevel and hole size. You might be squezzing it as well.
