I personally have a sony handycam, its a cheap good camera, takes the little vhs tapes. I used movie maker on my first vid that i made. It works pretty easy, i just got a new program called nero, i'm probably going to make a new vid before summers over.

Software is the Windows Movie Maker.
Here are some I bowling like to own to replace my old broke camcorder:

What I'm looking for/aka want is a HighDef and Hard Drive Recording, since the Mini DVD recording disc are pricey...
Have though about a cheaper Digital8 to replace my old Digital8 that recorded on 8MM tapes.

I just got a Sony HDR-SR5 camcorder. I also purchased a Slik 700DX tripod for it (it is one badass tripod). I will most likely be using the new iMovie '08 for editing, though I might give Adobe Premiere Express a try on my PC. I will get some footage either tomorrow or thursday and get some videos up.
I have used my Sony T7 in the past to record videos and even my crappy PPC6700 phone. With those, I've used windows movie maker to quickly edit the video.

Once I take care the rest of the Hammer stuff I'm getting (as well as a big upgrade in shoes), I'll be getting a video camera/tripod to record both mine and the g/f bowling so that it can be used as a learning tool for us.
