Tomorrow I head to New York for the bronze coaching conference. I heard the exam is difficult but not impossible so I'm confident I'll pass.

Wish me luck...

I'm back from New York and I passed the exam with flying colors. There is a lot of great information in the bronze course, I recommend it for anyone who as a chance to take it.

Yes, I won't allow you to take the bronze without the Level 1.

Congrats Slap. I think you'll make a great coach, just from what I've seen here on the boards.

No not really, I was at least familiar with most of the topics going into the course. The course manual is well done, very easy to understand. Our instructor told us the section on the physical game and lane play is where most students fail.

The exam is tough because the questions aren't exactly straight forward, they force you to think. You really have to understand what the question is asking.

Congrats Slap. You are going to enjoy coaching the kids. I coach the juniors and high school leagues and get nothing but satisfaction eveytime I do. Nothing like the look on a kids face when he strikes after you instruct him or her.

Congrats... knew you had to have your Level 1, just remember that you where looking at getting both a while back. If my memory is correct.

Any tips?

I would pay the extra $10 to get the manual early. Once you read through it you'll know what areas to pay extra attention to or ask the instructor to clarify.
