:) Has anyone tried the Big Block Diesel? I am interested in getting one as a medium oil reactive to put in my bag with all my other hammers.

I had 2 delivered yesterday along with 2 Switch Blades. I will be punching them out this weekend. Will let you know as soon as I have tried them.

Drilled one last week and was very impressed. Nice length and recovery. I just received 2 more yesterday and will be trying out a few different layouts for regionals. You won't go wrong with this ball. It just needs a little dry on the backend and you will love it.

I drilled one stacked leverage both pin and CG 3 3/8 from PAP (5 1/8 x 1/8 up) with the CG in the Thumb positive quadrant. Balance Hole on the midplane on a line drawn from the Center of Grip through the CG. I left this ball in an "Out of the box" condition.
This ball rips the rack, I was able to play multiple lines with great success. On a 42' sport shot I was able to play up the boards. In lesgue I was able to play a little deeper. If I got the ball too far right I got a little over reaction. If i pulled the ball I got some hold and was able to carry a couple of Yanked shots
I have another blank waiting, Just need to make up my mind what I want to do with it.
I also punched a Switch blade with the High RG maximum Length lay out. Seems to be a great control ball. Haven't had the chance to try it on a dry condition yet.

I just bought one myself
how should I have it drilled....I'm not real familiar with the drilling but I'm righty, I throw it 18mph or better (18 if I slow it down lol) and I want the biggest hook out of the ball I can get on medium oil house league conditions
any suggestions? oh..and I don't get a lot of revs, I'm workin on my release but I've been more of a ballspeed guy in the past and probably will still be more speed than anything
thanks!

To Hammerman: The Big Block is made to go down the lane and snap hard near the end. I would use it on medium to heavy oil, or when the lanes are flooded. The ball will hook in basically anything, but do not use it when the lanes are burnt, otherwise, you'll be seing it in the left gutter. If you need a ball that hooks, the Big Block Diesel is right for you. :)

out of the box it flies when it hits the dry. remove the orginal shine and shine it with extended polish, thiswill calm it down.

It my favorite ball and also the most aggressive ball in my bag but I did change the box surface. Out of box, it seems to much under/over because of the factory polish. Don't understand why they have to mirror a performance ball meant to be used on larger volume of oil. I hope to drill another one with a weaker drilling.

I agree with Faball. Most Hammer equipment has an over/under reaction.

I have to admit that after buying this ball it is really the best ball for being able to adjust and still get good reaction with that I have thrown. I have mine drilled with the pin next to ring finger and rg 2in out. I loved the out of the box feel and went to get it cleaned at the shop and the guy polished it! Well it definately added length but afetr a cpl more cleaning sessions with Ebonite Powerhouse Energizer Ball Cleaner and its back to like new agian. I Love This Ball, i can really count it when needed! :D :D
