is the saw blade supposed to be polished or dulled? Compared to a switch blade tis dull but compared to a sharp or blade reactive it is polished

The Saw Blade is particle and is polished. Maybe because of the lighter color of the ball it looks not as polished when compared to the Switch Blade. Both Sharp and reactive Blades are dull out of box.

hammer web says the saw blade is reactive but the real deal is particle and bowling this month list the saw blade as reactive and real deal as particle the saw blade comes polished the real deal is dull

Check the web site again because the "cut through" is a particle coverstock

it sounds funny...i know...but i asked them same question and the hammer guy responded it was a mix of particle and reactive...either way, i bought one and outta the box, drilled it pin under ring finger...its a 2 1/2" pin with about 3.5 top weight....the way i roll it, a lot of forward roll, the ball goes about 25 feet and starts to turn and crushes the backends like ive never seen....in all the balls ive thrown this has to be one the strongest balls ive ever seen...i recommend it for anyone. the best blade to date, eventhough i still love my reactive blade....

It still depends on what you are looking for in the ball. If you want it to go long and hook hard on the back end, I would reccomend putting the pin above your fingers in the middle of your fingers and put the cg either straight down or kicked slightly to the right. If you are looking for a more tame back end, try above ring finger (pin) and kick the cg slightly to the left. Good luck, this ball is great, I have two, love them lots.

This is my first post.I'm an old/new Hammerhead.Just got back into bowling about a year ago.Carrying a 190 average with my new Saw Blade. The box it came in says it's a particle pearl. All I have to do is hit my mark and the Saw does the rest.

I would love to see a diagram of the ball motion for the Saw Blade like the other Blades have. I currently throw a Blade Reactive, Blade Pearl, original Blue Hammer, and picked up like new from the Goodwill original Blue Pearl Hammer. I don't see alot of heavy conditions, but wonder where the Saw Blade would fit in.
