Ok so I needed a dry lane ball. Started looking around for a used Vibe if you recall I posted something about it. Then things whent downhill. I lost my job about 3 weeks ago now. So I have very little money. So I started looking around the garage and found my old columbia balls. Ok so I desided to take the Wiked and have the fingers pluged and moved. This puts the pin from above and right of the ring finger to above and left of the ring finger. Ok so far. Then adjust the thumb. (a little loose. ok I got tape) Then the dry aspect. Now that its drilled to go longer. I deside to take it to 1000 grit. Ok did that. Still was hooking alot on dry. Then the big factor. Desided to polish it at 500 finish. Ok done. Whent out to the lanes and rolled 2 games. First game 156 ok relearning the ball a bit. Second game found a line and stuck to it rolling down the second arrow and out to about 3 board hooks back and smacks the poket..... like a hammer. lol 244 that game had 2 4 baggers then go to far out on the last one for the 5 bagger whent loooonnnnnnnnggggg and split for a 6 in the fill. Oh well. I like the ball. I know its not a hammer but money is thight. And it only cost me 35 bucks. Anyway didnt mean to get this long. lol :p

Or he could come to my hometown and put abid to one of my local houses that has an ancient wooden ball in it's showcase. And for the ladies , they have High healed bowling shoes. No joke :D

Hey nothing wrong with using old balls for dry lanes!

I do that quite a bit. I bring out a beat up storm banshee and because its so dead it never hooks too early and stores quite a bit of power for the back end.

Its pretty common for me to be struggling to hold a ball with everything coming up high and switch to this ball and I can then play straight down and slower and it hooks just the right amount.
