Well, went to pro shop and got BW sanded down to make the move, no redrilling required. Its at 220 (driller reccomended it). While I was there a coach commented on the guy who plugged my ball (not the driller I was at but a different one) and said that the guy who plugged it before is impatient and that is why it took him 3 tries to plug the ball, and he said that if you rush plugging a ball it overheats the core and messes it up, and this could be why my BW isnt moving anymore.

That sounds like it would make sense, but is it true? Really need to know.

If you could get enough heat into a Gas Mask core to mess it up,the ball would explode from all the heat in it.
If that driller really took your ball down to 220,you bet your ass it's gonna hook. Now all you need is 30 foot wide lanes and you'll be all set.

220 seems a bit extreme.

220 is way too extreme. The furthest I would go is 500 and that's alot.

If the thumb hole is too big, lets say from a thumb slug, then you have to plug it in halfs. If you fill the entire thumb hole with plug it will overheat and crack the ball, but not the core.
