So i think i found out my problem that i had at league the other night.

I am one of those guys that when he goes to practice will bowl 5 games in 30 mins, so in other words i am a bowler who needs to bowl fast. I think that i almost become bored watching other bowl or something.

So i was wondering, what do you guys do while you wait for your turn, i need something to keep my mind on my line and everything else.

Poker.

After every frame you can draw cards, chit chat with teammates, etc.

Like Josh, we play poker on marks. Always keeps you busy. And just relax and chit chat with team mates.

Same as bubba and josh we play cards and chat. But while Im at the lane waiting for my turn I always wipe off my ball between shots not really because I have to but to keep my mind focused and to keep me from watching anything else.I have a tendency to watch what everyone else is doing and It hurts me sometimes.

Even though I do like the have it during the league where I can get back to the line as fast as I can when I'm starting off the game with a mark, I find that if I rush to fast that start not to be focused like I normally would and tend to mess up my approach.

When I do my practice bowling, I tend to take my time and focus on my approach and my marks since I have a difficult time with sometimes missing my mark and with some spares in general.

After each practice game, I try to reflect on what I feel that I'm doing good on, and try to continue doing it while focusing on what I need to improve on as well. So I take about a 3-5 minute break between games to do this before starting up with the next game.

Same as Bubba and them. Poker or whatever side pots are going on. Clean ball. Drink soda.(No booze til the bowlings done) Shoot shit with whoever. One thing you HAVE to do is start practicing slower. I practice just like it's league play. If you practice at the slower pace, you'll get two benefits. One,you won't burn yourself out,and Two,your league scores will go up. Give it a try.
