just wanted to thank everyone for the help have been out of bowling for about 15 yrs due to my carrer in the Army.the forum has helped me get up to date on how far the sport has come Army life has slowed a little for now so took back up my favorite pastime. Have been a life long hammer man never owned anything but one and just bought BWP and shot 548 first week of league after fiftten years of no bowling. sorry so long winded just excited to be back at it and looking forward to productive year and good bowling.

First off you stated you are a career man in the army and I want to say ,

TAHNK YOU AND ALL THE OTHER WHO ARE DOING SO MUCH IN DEFENDING OUR COUNTRY AND WHAT IT STANDS FOR. I SALUTE YOU.

Your choice of the BWP for a new ball is a good choice. I admire you for choosing such a strong ball in the beginning. Seems like you handled it just fine. Do you bowl on Base > And one more question if you don't mind, How did youhave the BWP drilled?

Do not be affraid or hesitate to ask a question for advice or help. Everyone here is knowledgeable and very very helpful. Great shooting the other night . 548 is great for not throwing a ball for 15 yrs.

Sounds like you had one heck of night. What did you average 15 years ago?

thank you for the support it means alot to me and my fellow soldiers i think they said it was drilled #1 whatever that is all i know is that when it hits the pocket it crushes the pins and yes i bowl at the bowling center on Fort Knox Ky. 15 ears ago i averaged about 190 with my good ole trusty black hammer
