Tonights golf league was rained out, so I hurried home to bowl instead. League started three weeks ago, and I usually start in week 5, so I wasn't too heartbroken over the rain. Anyway, the night went well. I gotta say, the more I throw the BWP, the more I love it. Started the night with the BWS, just as I planned to do. It worked well for about 7 frames, then started going a little high. I moved left, but started leaving 10s. Even with that, I ended up with a 202. 2nd game, I switched to BWP. Took me a bit to adjust to it, and ended up with a 200. 3rd game, had to move a little left a couple boards to keep the BWP in the pocket and shot a 205. Now, I'm happy with tonights results, but it's not exactly the best way to start off in a handicap league. I hope...as well as my team mates...that I can keep it up. :)

For me, the BWP seems to forgive my little misses better than her sister. I know, I know...it's just the first night, but even after a few practice sessions, I'm hooked...and I hope it's the beginning of a beautiful relationship. ;)

I started my handicap league similar. Not quite the 200 avg but my first night was a 185...I have alot to live up to. Best of luck staying scratch the whole season!

You guy's will do just fine. One key is not to try so hard. If you have a bad game, shake it off and come back with one that's avg. or higher. Stay focused and everything will fall in place.

And you are gonna love that BWP.

Hammered, that's a 203 average! Not too shabby,Dude! Got guys around here that would trade their first born son for a 203. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Rowdy! I set the bar a little high, but I do that to myself every year. I think I have the potential to carry a 200 avg, but I'm not there yet. Keep in mind, this is on what some Hammerheads would call a simple THS, so it's not as impressive as some averages in here. As I improve, I'd like to test PBA Experience and sport bowling patterns, but my house isn't ready to take the risk. I guess I'll have to try a tourney or two in order to bowl them.
