When I was a kid I fractured my thumb, since then my left thumb is shorter and fatter. Due to this is widens near the bottom of the thumb alot and it feels like the bone is misaligned a bit, ive never been able to got a good fit with my thumb, it feels fin ewhen fitting the ball but when bowling it preses again the bone that pushed out. Can they bevel the ball more near the top to accomodate for this? Or should I look into getting a slug?

There are alot of pro shop guy's out there that can manke an oval thumb hole for people with problems like this. Look and ask around and see if you can locate one or ask your pro shop guy if he can do this for you. He should be able to fix the problem with your thumb hole so it releives the pressure off the side of the thumb.

Sounds more like a pitch issue to me. Or your proshop should be able to use their work out tools to place a notch in your thumb to stop the rubbing. Once they get the thumb wher you like it, I would "Exacticate" the thumb hole http://www.viseinserts.com/exactacated%20thumb%20inserts.htm and use these inserts in your thumb.

Yeah ill talk to the pro shop where we bowl leauge and see what he says. I guess it wouldnt be advisable to try and bevel it myself just to clerance a bit more huh.

You sure could try. Take a piece of sandpaper and try to get what you need out of that thumbhole. Just make sure you do it soon enough so that if you mess it up they have the time to fix it before your next league.
