Poll:Are You a Bowler,or just someone who bowls???

Okay Gang,we should all know the diff,but for those snoozing in the back of the class here's a recap of the two.
Bowler: Owns all his equipment. Has 3 or more bowling balls. Rolls in 2 or more Leagues a week and hits tournaments when he can. Would rather bowl than eat. Still has B-Day party at the lanes. Knows who Pete Webers Dad was. Can idendify terms like axis tilt,rollout,PAP,VAL and others.

Someone who bowls: Might own a ball and ratty shoes. Orders a bucket of beer and misses practice. Have to holler for him when it's his turn to bowl. Doesn't stick around to see if team won or lost,gone like a shot after his last ball of the nite.

lol I'm a bowler definately, I can nail the end of the description easy, as for balls I dont have too many, just 2, but if you wanna count bowling balls, then I have 3 :P

Is there anything more then just a bowler? I got 11 balls new shoes every 6 months havent gotten the good ones yet. I got basicly my own pro shop in my house. So not sure what you would call me but obsessed.

Boy this is a no brainer. I am bowling since the age of six. Spent many many days watching my dad who worked for Brunswick put lanes in and refinish lanes. Started bowling seriously at 12. Joined high school league. At 20 I joined a mens league. Turned pro. Bowled in many tournaments and might hit a senior regional in two weeks. I have bowled 7 days a week at one time and weekend days practicing. Now 3 nights and sunday morning pot games.

Met many many wonderful people throughout the country by bowling. Now I have met a whole new Wonderful group to be part of and thanks to Mr. Graham and Hammer. It's an Honor to be part of and Represent the Hammer Team. THANK YOU!

Yep Ive been bowling since I could hardly walk I started when I was 3. started league bowling at 10 won 5 tournaments my first year and was hooked for life. Started bowling mens leagues at 14 and now I only bowl 1 night a week and sub another. But starting next year I want to bowl in atleast 2 or 3. I have 4 bowling balls now and am getting 2 more. So Id consider myself a bowler.:rolleyes:

I fit all of those except the "Rolls in 2 or more Leagues a week and hits tournaments when he can" part.

I'm defenetely a bowler! Bowling is my favorite hobby in life besides video games!! Football is awsome, but it ain't as addicting as bowling to me!!! If I wasn't a bowler all my grades in school would be like straight A's and never miss any points cus I wouldn't have any excuse for not taking time on my homework.

1. At 10 balls, I own more bowlings balls than I do pairs of shoes...lol

2. Two weekly league plus a monthly travel league.

3. Cert. coach/ currently an assistant in a youth league

4. Bowl tournaments when I can

5. Practice ~10 games a week, more when I'm in a funk like I am now.

6. Plus I'll read anything bowling related I can get my hands on...

I'm a bowler in the making. Own 3 bowling balls, only in 1 league but i practice a few days a week. I wish I could bowl everyday but the BWP put a big hole in my pocket, and being jobless at college doesnt help:( . still tryin to learn the axis tilt, PAP, and such, but im gettin there. But I just got some really great news! My college is working on getting a bowling team next year!!!!! Adrian College in Michigan if you guys are wondering. Hopefully they partner up with Hammer or else I dont know what I will do:eek:

HAHA how true is that. i'm pulling good grades without doing hw. And i always seem to be grounded when report cards come out with the missing hw comment. Actually pulling 96's in every class so far. Such an easy year. In honors classes too.:eek:

Don't even go there about shoes. My ex. had 120 pairs of shoes. Some with tags still on them after 14 yrs. How can they wear that many shoes.

I am a bowler and always will be. Although I only bowl regular on Saturdays now, Friday nights my wife and I are always at Barbers Point lanes eating dinner. I just love their burgers & fries or pizza, also supporting my son Jacob. I sub there & Sundays at Aiea Bowl.

I own 5 Hammer balls but only 3 are in active use.
