I finally was able to see someone use the No Mercy, he's a left handed stroker that plays the far left arrow only. He's on one o the two new teams that was voted to join our league, he holds down a 183 average as well. Anyway, my team went up against him tonight, and the No Mercy was just a tank for him all night long.

I don't know how he had the ball drilled, but each and every time he would throw from the left arrow, the ball would just head straight to the pocket and he would get strikes in bunches. As I was watching him, he would just throw it to his mark and the ball would do the rest itself it seemed, he didnt add any extra hook to the ball when he released it.

The people at Hammer who named the ball, had the proper name for it, because it had No Mercy on the pins and he had No Mercy on us, and we ended up with a 2/2 split for the night with them taking total pins.

Does the No Mercy really have that much hook to it or was I just seeing things? And would it be among the top Hammer ball in terms of hook? Becaus e I was looking into getting the No Mercy around christmas time or before.

Beat'n is stronger and longer. Just work on your release, usually when someone gets their average to about 180, they have a pretty strong release.
Work on getting more axis rotation (turning on it slightly more) and getting more lift.

No Mercy is a great ball. For a stroker with decent revs the strong drilling (#1) is great. I currently do not own a No Mercy, but intend on adding one again soon.

After success with the #1 drilling but pain from thumb blisters I changed the pitch and tried a different drilling (#4 or #5). With the new-drilling I was not able to get the ball consistently to score for me so I traded it in for a Gamebreaker.

Its the Goldylocks thing. If you have any ball that it too _____, you will not be comfortable with it and won't use it.:D

I love both of mine the NM and NMB. I think the overall hook of he 2 is about the same, but the Beat'n just goes longer. Yes , they do hook that much. Now I dont know what type of shot you were on, but if its a typical house shot, that guy was using no hand at all ! If I play out there on the right side, I would never even keep it on the right side !

It was a typical house shot I believe, there are no pba patterns at the orleans casino. Every time this guy would go to the line, I would be sitting on the left side just to check out the ball and his delivery, and for the 3 games he would hit the first arrow on the left each time and not add any additonal hook with his release. And the NM each time would just head down the lane and make that wide turn, heading straight to the pocket and just destroy the pins, every few frames he would get either a 7 or 9 or 10 pin left but the rest was strikes.

Was a thing of beauty watching the NM and the destruction it caused, it seems to hit harder than my BW but on par with the BWP.
