Head coach/youth director Slap ?!?

.....yep that was me for one hour in the youth league this weekend.

The head coach/ director was running late so I had to run the show. Luckily no children were killed, maimed or otherwise injured in this experiment... LOL In fact the older kids barely noticed and younger ones were only slightly more inquisitive, "you in charge...yes...okay"

I was slightly more frantic, there were all kinds of paperwork to get in order, smooze with the parents and give instructional tips here and here.

Hey slap, the kids need you help bud. Don't turn your back on them. Now's the time to get out there and put your knowledge to use. You will find out when a kid comes up to you and says, " Thank you for your help " I am bowling better because of it.

( Not trying to put a guilt complex on Slap ) Yea right I'm not. ;)

Oh no guys, I'm having fun coaching in the youth league. I've got 3 or 4 kids that are really open to my tips and suggestions. I'm just not ready to run the show. There is so much other stuff you have to attend to, it takes away from time on the lanes.
