I still throw warmups that way. Throw one shot to loosen up and then start my approach and close my eyes for a few to feel the ball in my hand

I depends what type of lanes you have but do you know thta white poointy thing that comes points out from the gutter onto the approach by the foul line. thats what I think he hit it off.
