I am new to bowling in a league. The only reason I started (even though I love to bowl) is because my brother and father asked me to bowl on thier team this year. Turns out I love bowling in a league and will probably continue to do so until my fingers fall off.
Anyway to the story.. About 3 weeks ago my brother, who averages 220, was struggling in the first few frames of the 3rd game. The lanes broke down a little quicker then usual and seemed to be really dry. His Ebonite The One was breaking to soon causing him to leave the 9 pin. So being the smarty pants he is.. in the 5th frame he pics up a 15 lb house ball and strikes out to beat us all with a 258. That ball would sit and spin on the 7 board until about 45' then make a smoothe move to the pocket. Going into the 5th frame I had the first 4, so I was leading pretty good. Just made me sick when he came back and beat me with a house ball.
You all may not find this funny but I did.
