I Had The Pleasure

Idlerhour and I had the distinct pleasure today of meting VmsTopGun and his son . We had a fun filled afternoon of bowling and shooting the chat. It was a pleasure to meet these two members and they are first class people. I was supposed to help both of them and let me say this, I did not find really anything that wrong with their game. Vms bowled fantastic after I suggested he slow his ball speed down and proceed to bowl 236 / 187/ 210 and his son was very impressive. He went up 2 pounds in ball weight and he throws that Anger with authority for his age. he has a bright future in this sport. I asked young Vms what his avg was and I could not believe what he told me . He shot195 /187/ and another 18? game . I would have thought it was 20-25 pins higher than he said it was. I am lloking forward in the future to meet them agin only this time when my schedule permits I will travel to thier hometown. Idlehour also bowled fantastic and like I said when he's locked in he's devistating . Today he showed it.Congrats to all who bowled today. You all bowled very well. Idlehour bowled 703 with a 267 / high game. That's the guy I know.

Thanks to Vms and his son for traveling the distance and It's alwasy a pleasure to make two more friends and classy as them. THANK YOU AGAIN

Yea like Bubba said we had a great time and they were definately a class act. We all threw very well I was very impressed with Vms and espiecially his son who has only been bowling a few months and throws the ball really well as if hes been doing it for years. I also would definately like to go out to their hometown and bowl with them again. I am looking forward to the next time we can get together. Bubba also threw very well equally well as I did he too had a 703 series with a 267 high game.

Yes idlehour it was fun. Today I had the best time I have had in a long time. You , Vms, His son made the day. Now if we can only carry over how we bowled today into Wed. ;)

Ray and Idle,
Thank you so much for inviting us to meet you. My son and I had a wonderful time with you and your buddies. On the way way home, my son and I were replaying some of the magnificent shots executed by both of you. What was equally impressive was not only the technical knowledge of the physical aspects of the game( ball drilling and lane conditions) but the astute awareness of even the most minute of details. Both of you picked almost immediately that my sons release was somewhat different with the spare ball than the strike ball. With the spare ball being #2 less than his BWS and Anger, I never noticed the difference, but you did.

Should any other member of the hammer message board be afforded the oppertunity that we experienced, you would be well rewarded by the time invested. With the many years of experience of a PBA professional and the youthful exuberance of Idle's two handed form, you will come away with an appreacition of what a hammer products can do in the hands of both old school and leading edge techniques.

We had a fun time and and are looking forward to many more meetings in the future.

P.S. Idle had an advantage, he was the only lefty there....

Vms. Thank you so much for the kind words. The p;leasure was all mine and I don't know if I helped you or your son any but there wasn't much to cgange other than your ball speed. I am impressed with both of you on how much knowledge you have of this game also. You were well aware right off the bat when we had to switch lanes the difference in conditions 10 lanes down from where we were earlier. You had a great series of 633 and from what I saw you could read the lanes just fine and adjust to the conditions. You son totally suprised me about his avg. He has a bright future ahead of him. Tell him to practice what I explained about his wrist and turn if that's what he would like to see happen in his game. He could have the same release with his Anger as he does with his lighter ball if he practices this.
