View Full Version : Has anybody bowled in a Pro Am

I have a chance to bowl in a Pro Am in November in Buffalo and wondered if anybody here has ever had the chance to do this and what to expect. i have boweled next to the pros once before and it was an awesome experience I will never forget Im only a 189 avg bowler but it is handicaped. does anybody knows who is throwing hammers this year on tour because that is all im going up there with (black widow,high rev,sling blade,cherry vibe and old 3-d high rev)i have no idea what the lane conditions are going to be so i better fill up my hammer bag...lol

I have been doing it every year since they came up to my area. It is so much fun! I got to bowl with Tony Reyes the first year! You will have so much fun. I'm doing it again this year on November 17th.

Go and have fun! If you want to see the Hammer staff,click on the "staff" tab and you can see all the guys. Don't worry about your average. Just go and roll and pick up some tips. Ask them to watch and offer suggestions. Tink and I are going to try and roll when the Tour comes to SC in December.

December 11-16. In Spartanburg at Shamrock Lanes. There's going to be three Pro-Am sessions. Go to PBA.com and click on the tournament and all the info will pop up. Thinking about week long passes and a Pro-Am. $360 for Tink and I to watch all the bowling including the Finals and roll in a Pro-Am. And those are for the good seats at the Finals.

Yea like everyone else said just go up and have fun and pick up some tips from the pros. I wish that they had the tour coming around here but there are no stops that are close.

O.k. Id really like to see whats its all about and get a feel for it because I Plan on doing it in a few years myself but I have a little more to learn before I do.
