I have been told he is not on anyones staff. That way he has the freedom to throw whatever works for the conditions. Steve Jaros is doing the same and they even hinted at it on the show.

I thought PA signed with Hammer last year, but I could be wrong.Maybe someone should ask Brian Graham.idlehour, you love to bring up the leftys huh?

These are your own words. You bet you're gonna hear about it. And besides, As TJ says to Jason Couch, righties don't have a ramp on thier side to get the ball to hook.

BubbaRay

And I thought PA was staffed by Ebonite.

But I do know who's staff he is deffinately on. Dexter and Vise

Well, personally , I hope PA is NOT on the staff ! I might get rid of my Hammers if he is ! Anyone who screams out "I make my spares, unlike you " during the USBC Masters is a complete idiot ! He should concentrate more on throwing strikes I guess huh ? What an idiot !

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't PA on Hammer staff like 2-3 years ago, and had a great year winning tourney's and if I'm not mistaken player of the year, and soon afterwards ditched Hammer for track or some company like that?

TenPinSniper

Thats correct SCH... heard it possibly for money.

He had his bets year with Hammer, left for Track... left them for Ebonite staff position last year... from my impression.

His PBA profile does not reflect any major ball company.

People like that don't deserve a 2nd shot with Hammer in my book, he showed a total lack of loyality to Hammer after his best year with them, and then left like a theif in the night soon afterwards.

Now watch him have another good year once again, and leave just as quickly. I'm so glad Doug Kent didn't follow in his footsteps after the awesome year Doug had last season, I would've been bummed for quite some time then if it did happen.

While it's always good to get more Hammer bowlers, I just have these flashbacks of pa doing what he did last time and watching it happen again.

Respect and loyality, two things that are earned and not given, and I have both for Hammer.

I personally know a former long time Hammer staffer that earned an exemption for the tour this year. He asked Hammer for a little help(money) and was turned down. My impression is, Hammer is not going to be bully'd into paying somebody more money just because of some good results. And PA is no different. He might have tried to play that card back when and they called his bluff. Now hes trying to throw Hammer again and........

....we shall see what happens.

There are some old post here about PA leaving... who knows what happened. But a good additude goes a long way. I did not see the telecast, si I really dont know what happened there.

I believe PA went independant from last year's signing with Track and switch to Ebonite. I believe he ended up going independant this year.

Stampy if you want to rip PA, fine,go for it. Only don't do it here,do it at work with your buds. We've tried really hard the past few months to knock off the hate mail. We're all trying really hard to play nice and get along with each other so we can keep this place open. Myself and others would not like to see you and a PA fan go after each other on here. I'll support any bowler who wears the Hammer colors. We got it that you don't much like PA,okay? Chill.

For someone to say that they will get rid of their Hammer equipment just because of pa or any other bowler they don't like, just shows that they would be considered a fair-weathered-johnson.

But to call someone who's actually made it to the top and they haven't a loser, is just a stupid comment. Hell, I might not like the way he left Hammer after he had his best year, but to call him a loser and other stupid names because of it, I won't do.

Much like it is for the top 1% of collage kids to make it into the pro's for the nfl, the same can be said for the PBA bowlers, they are considered that top 1% of their sport. And because of that, pa is among that group and is where almost everyone who comes to this message board would like to be, and maybe some day a few will be.

It's obvious, that both pa and Hammer realize that the run they both once shared can hopefully once again happen again, and if it does it will be a great thing for pa and Hammer, my only concern is IF it does happen will history repeat itself and he leave just like he did before.

Best of luck to ALL the Hammer pro's.

Very well put Sin City. And I am keeping my comments to myself about PA . Let's just hope he let by gones be by gones. And for him to come out and say "Thanks B.G. for letting me use your ball says something in my eyes. Not much you can do when you shoot 248 and loose to a 290. This does not constitue being a loser. There alot of people who don't like others because of attitude or actions. But you can't let that take away from thieir accomplishments and skill. Some do not like me in my area, but I am one who does not go around and brag how good I might be. If I bowl good I bowl good if I bowl bad I bowl bad. But one thing is for sure people have a hard time with others who tell it like it is.

1st of all, I didnt say I was gonna rip anyone in here (Did I ?) and If choose to sell everything I own, I will ! As far as Hammer equipment, I think its ok stuff and I like it. But why do they pay Pros to throw it ? So we will buy it ! Well I just think some peeps are bad advertisement for the equipment. No one ragged on me about saying my No Mercy was a dud ! How come ? You guys forget one thing quite often. None of us bowl the same. So what works for you will not work for me. The conditions arent the same or anything else. When I first said it didnt work, one of the first things I read on here was maybe I did it wrong ! Or didnt know how to read a scale ! Geesh ! I have seen so many things posted in here that are absolutlely so wrong its funny, but I dont rip anyone for it, I just shut up and laugh ! There is no one here who actually asked me what my rev rate was to help with this ball and I finally saw another layout on the drill sheet that came with the ball that I think will work for me (Low Rev Drilling) I am not a guy who is ashamed to say I dont twist it up ! I never have and dont want to. I can bowl on as many conditions as just about any amatuer bowler around with my game. I think I have read enough posts on this site to get my fill of people who know everything. So you guys keep working hard and bowling good, and hopefully I will stop back in some day and say Hi ! Have a Gr8 day and Cya all around

BG Emailed me and the subject of PA came up. No,he's not on staff. He's doing the Steve Jaros thing, rolling whatever works for him that week. BG says that he expects to see PA wearing the Hammer colors on the tube a lot this year. So do I. And I hope he does well for the brand. I've already had one bowler watch me unload all my Hammers and ask about them from seeing PA on TV. He's interested in switching brands. So I do my usual thing, tell him how great they are,big backends, outstanding factory support and about our little slice of heaven here. Let him roll one of the balls. They do sell themselves. Last I saw,he was in the pro shop looking to buy a Black Widow Pearl for sure and maybe the Solid as well. BG,where's my comission check?:D
