Full Roller drill

Hey everybody, just wondering if anybody here has tried a full roller drill on a ball when they aren't a full roller. If you have, wut was the reaction like? Also wut ball, surface, and condition.

I threw one once, a very very very mild reaction. My friend had one drilled this way, he cranks the ball and it worked well for him, the reaction was mild enough for him to use.

Its somewhat like what they calll a thumbdown ball, or Pin down (below thumb) they rev real early and have a very mellow but heavy roll to the pocket. They really do work good
