Started off the night in good fasion with a 194 striking out the tenth frame. Then bowled my highgame last night with my Black Widow, 244. SEVEN strikes in a row frames 1-7, then I fell apart from the pressure and left a seven pin, strike, then left the damn tenth frame OPEN (). Including my strike out in the tenth frame of the first game thats TEN strikes in a row! I got goosebumps how close I was to a 300 game. Nothing hits like a HAMMER!

I hit 12 out of 13 with my turbo diesel the other night. I saw a 300 game this weekend at the southwest regional, very cool

Many years ago, I bowl a Pro Am with some guy named Earl Anthony. I credit him with shooting my first 300 and a few since (4 total).

As we were bowling he talked to us about all sorts of little things to improve our game, and one thing he told us was as an amateur bowler the pressure of throwing 12 strikes in a row get to you. To help control this, on the 11th and 12th shots, move 1 board left (for right hander (more to the right for left handers)) and throw you normal shot. It is a natural tendency to tug the last shot because of the pressure, and this little move help pull the ball back into the pocket.

All I can say is it works.
