Anyone have both of these balls in use? I have a hawg wild and my friend's dad just got a hawg zilla. Both balls have the same span and both me and him throw about the same. The difference is that my wild is drilled for maximum flare and the zilla is drilled for length.
I threw it a few times and saw him throw it a few times. (In practice we throw each others bowling balls for fun, and that is the reason he wanted a hawg)
Anyways I have some observations: The coverstock is supposed to both be 4000 grit-abralon right? My ball looks in the middle of dull/poslished and his looks just dull. Maybe it's just the coverstock. He's is not too happy with the ball right now. It has a huge burst of energy at the last second but it doesn't blast the pins or sling the pins everywhere like my wild does. Anyone know why this is? I was wondering if anyone else has seen this?
Oh yeah my wild seems to be more controllable and smooth. But the Zilla probably has about 7-8 boards more hook. (which could be good or bad)
WARNING: if you have the zilla and like it, don't read this next quote- (The Zilla might be HUGE and MORE Agressive, but it ain't Wild!!!:D) sorry I just LOVE my ball;)
