New-ball thread taken down?

I can't find it and my history takes me to dead links. Crazy conspiracy stuff goin on. About to order a Toxic but was thinking of waiting for the new balls to come out. Does anyone remember if either was a pearl ball?

Its about the same thing as the post with Gyronodo or however u spell it(sorry). U were trusted with the walkthrough in the factory, and u went and blabbed the whole thing. Like u said, they're probably going to release info about 3 weeks before, bingo- they didn't want it out before that. U went and did that so they took it down.

Yep, it was when the toxic was coming out. Hammer's site, they get to decide what's on it. Especially release dates etc.
At least we know what was said is probably valid. :D

Personally I think it's kind of cool that the folks at Hammer take time to browse our topics.

Did not think it was a smart post, heck I was wondering if it was rantings of a madman. But if somone goes through the time to remove the thread, probably a reason. Personally, I bet the guy got to take the tour from the Power House Training Class, hope he did not ruin it for the rest of the world.

The thread was taken down for a legitimate reason and we should not judge anyone on why. Someone was given a tour and had promised not to say anything about what they saw and agreed to it and broke that promise.

There was another thread a few months ago about one of our member who went to a seminar and was gtiven a tour of the plant and agreed not to say anything about what they saw in up comming releases and he kept his promise. This should have been done with this person. I know when I am asked not to say anything and someone puts their trust in me, I do not break that trust and I keep my mouth shut. When the proper time comes all of us will hear about all the New Hammer equipment to be released from Hammer themselves.

Yeah, I agree. It is too bad though that when info is leaked on other sites then made public knowledge, even if it is early, that we're the last to really know about it. I wish we could be the first to know sometimes. :)

(P.S. it was a brown recluse - a supposedly nasty spider native to the USA I believe)

Yeah, I never bought it... being he said it was going to Particle, I just kinda agreed not to start a stupid agruement. Guess particle would be okay, really not need with the new resin's... plus they don't sell as well.

I actually like particle balls, then again I prefer arcing ball motion over skid snap. For my style, sanded particle and particle pearls really control the midlane on heavier patterns and polished particles are great on flying backends.

It's been posted here that Hammer has gone away from particle but other ball companies continue to produce them so I wouldn't be suprised to see something from Hammer in the future. For the record, I don't have insider information, this is based on my observation of the ball market. Particle isn't dead yet.

I understand hammer keeping a wrap on sensitive material, especially on these forum where they have control over it. But also part of why I come here is to get the inside scoop on what's coming out and and all the cool stuff hammer heads are doing with these balls (lay outs and surface grits).

I think it would be really cool if BG or someone from hammer would log on and leak new ball information a day or two be for it comes out officially. Just give us the fake feeling that we have the inside scoop. Or at least in the next release round say we have a pearl two solids and a spare coming out, start guessing.

It would also be really cool if any of the hammer staff logged on. Even if it was just in a new section call "Pro blogs" and they just mentioned what balls they used that week with surfaces and what type of lines they played on that weeks pattern. I know this might give their competition too much in site to their game, but again their competition can just watch them play. I think this type of information would be crazy cool for all of us especially those in a PBA league.
