I'm going to do the bucket cleaning right now. Is it a good idea to cover the holes or to just leave them be?

U can leave them uncovered.

Yep, some prefer them uncovered and some prefer to cover them. Either way it will not harm the ball.

My hot rod hybrid was good because it was strong and it was cinnamon. I like storm, they make good balls, all companies make good balls now. It really depends on the layout, player-ball matchup, and surface.

really all the companies are coming out with quality equipment so its hard to make up your mind sometimes, I'm trying to stick true to Hammer.,

I've been working on one of my friends to love Hammer, and now he says they are the best company. I let him throw my Widow and he loves it, but my brother let him throw his Toxic and he fell in love with the length and snap (he has crazy revs, not much does that long for him.)

What grit do you have on that thing, pretty low if I had to guess from the picture.

I only put it in once. I filled up the bucket with hot water and then put Simple Green in it. The one time did the trick. It feels awesome. Just like a new ball. I probably bowled over 400 games with that ball now without cleaning it until yesterday.:o I'm trying to get a Total NV from Stampy on here. It's the best deal he's given me so far, so I might go with it.

Just to clarify a point,in parking lot bowling,NO ball is used. Just a shopping cart and an old,fast car or truck you don't mind getting scratches on.

You're probably right. There's probably 3 gallons of oil in that ball from those 400 games.:) The ball is still good though.

I can roll 75 games with my BWS and it'll take up to 8 trips thru the bucket before ALL the oil is out of the ball. You have to keep putting the ball in there until you don't see an oil slick on top of the water anymore.

Oh. Ok, well I have a league tomorrow at 9:30AM, so I'll probably do it when I get back. My lanes' Pro shop doesn't sell any used balls. They only sell new ones.

No one leaves a ball there to be sold on consignment? We have a rack at our Pro Shop and there was 22 balls on it after I pulled my Bud Ball off it to send to Sin City.
