I thought we'd better quit messing up the black widow clear thread. :o
Bigsexy, have you seen the new Nightster? I drool every time I look at it. I know which 883 you're talking about too though. The nightster is a 1200 and has a flat paint job and even some old school rubber fork boots. I would post up a pic but it's too much work from the phone.
Split, the 250 is working out to be an excellent starter bike for my wife. She's really starting to sling it around. If she doesn't like my bike we will probably look into sportsters for her because she likes thinner tanks. Of course it will be stock performance wise except for probably a set of pipes.
I'm really looking forward to picking up a Victory Hammer for myself. 100 cubic inches with a 250 tire out back.
I made myself a deal that I'll pick one up when I get down to 250 lbs. we'll see if I can wait that long..

That is SWEET! If you like flat trackers you should check out the Triumph Scrambler too. They're awesome and if my Wife liked them I would buy her one in a heartbeat. I say buy her one because when I get on it I look like a hippo riding a bicycle.:o

Looks as if I want to ride next year, I will have to buy my own. No more mooching off the in-laws.
I always rode my MIL's Heritage Softail, but I learned today that it has been traded for all new custom cabinets for their new house they are building...
Soooo, looks like I probably wont be riding. Hate to say it, but there are no factory bikes that I like well enough to buy. I would have to change so many things that it would be rediculous.
Eventually I will scratch build the one I want, but that is a ways off yet.

Well...
I dug bobbers way before it was the new "cool" thing
http://www.avaloncycleworks.com/Images/Bobbers/HankYoungKnuck1.jpg
But I still love em. Maybe one of them.
Just something different.
I like fat tires front and back. I dont like a lot of chrome.
Exiles are cool

I was thinking Exile the whole time I was reading that.
I love bobbers but I like to have space for a passenger. If I build a bobber it will have no rear fender at all.

Thanks and I like it too. Unfortunately, I live in Seattle and its rainy nasty weather so riding is done for me AND most important is my priority of my little girl and the fact that mommy wants to park in the garage, meaning no room for the bike.... Time to get a "home improvement loan"...then get a Harley...HA

Parts of Ohio and Indiana do not change their clocks at all. They are for the most part rural farms that work by daylight anyway and don't care what time it is.
Funkhousert
11-16-2007, 08:47 PM
Yepper that is correct. The is no clock when you are farming. It is called daylight to dark. The roosters and coyotes keep time for you.
