here is the deal. i want a hammer that goes deep and breaks hard on oily lanes. the house i throw in claims to have a medium oil pattern on synthetic lanes. right now i have a lane 1 dirty bomb (take it easy on me for that). been bowling for a month now and joined a league. i have a 121 average but today practicing i shot 145,146,141,139,129,171,165,183,168 leaving too many ten pins that i have a little trouble getting for a spare. i dont have that much of a hook with the ball im throwing but i rolled my mans anger and that thing really snapped hard on the backend. the thing is i dont want the same ball he has. the balls i have in mind are the BWP or the no mercy beatn. the old hawg wild looks good too. any advice would help.:(

Hard to say for sure with out seeing you bowl. But if you liked the anger and by the sounds of your conditions, you might match up well with a No Mercy Beat'n. I have this ball and use it on oily lanes, it hooks like a monster, way more than my Hawgzilla.

Best of luck.

A Hawg would do what you want. For oily lanes I like to give more surface to the ball like 500-1000 grit abralon.

Hawgzilla and Hawg are the only ones I have. They are both good for "oily" lanes.

I like BW more than BWP for versatility. Not familiar with No Mercy Beat'n but I like No Mercy for tough lane conditions.
